Facts:	The Pine Tree State Arboretum is privately maintained and has over 300 varieties of trees and other plants. It's open 7 days a week and the admission is free.
My two cents:	The Arboretum has self-guided nature trails and it's a great place for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Early in the morning you can even watch deer. It's a beautiful place all year long in the middle of Augusta.
