| Facts: | Mount Battie is a mountain in the Camden Hills State Park and is about 700ft high. The Mt. Battie Trail from Megunticook Street to the mountain's summit is 0.5 miles long and very steep. On the top of the mountain is an old lookout tower. |
| My two cents: |
We parked out car at the end of Megunticook Street in Camden and followed the trail to the mountain. From there we climed up the rocks and had great views over the charming little town of Camden, the surrounding mountains as well as the Atlantic Ocean. The hike to the summit took us about 1 hour (it is a very steep trail). It depends on how fast you climb/hike. We stopped several times to enjoy the views and take pictures.
