Facts: The Bald Rock Trail is about 0.5 miles long (starting at the Ski Shelter Trail/Spring Brook Road)
My two cents: Even though it's only a small mountain, it is one of my favorite mountains in Maine. The way up is not very hard and the view is more than breath taking. From the summit you have a 200° panoramic view over the Penobscot Bay. On a clear day you can even see the mountains of Acadia National Park. Bald Rock Mountain is not only nice in summer. It's beautiful in every season, especially in winter.
Things to do nearby: Camden, Rockland Breakwater Light, Mount Megunticook, Mount Battie, Maiden Cliff
