My two cents:

One of our favorite destinations for a long weekend. When we visit Acadia, we stay at a hotel in Bar Harbor and make day trips to places like Cadillac Mountain, Thunder Hole or just go hiking wherever we find a nice place. The nature/landscapes in Acadia are breath taking and I recommend everyone who loves and enjoys the outdoors to visit this park!
