Acadia National Park, Hancock/Knox County, Maine

Location: Hancock/Knox County, Maine

Facts: Acadia National Park is one of the most visited national parks in the United States. It was established in 1916 and has an acreage of approximately 47,390 acres.
My two cents: One of our favorite destinations for a long weekend. When we visit Acadia, we stay at a hotel in Bar Harbor and make day trips to places like Cadillac Mountain, Thunder Hole or just go hiking wherever we find a nice place. The nature/landscapes in Acadia are breath taking and I recommend everyone who loves and enjoys the outdoors to visit this park!
